M2B LAUNCHES GLOBAL BROADBAND TV SERVICE; CUTTING-EDGE SET-TOP BOX
M2Btv And PONY Box Combine To Offer Worldwide Viewers On-Demand Entertainment, Comprehensive Lifestyle Solutions and More Direct To The Living Room

Hollywood, CA & Singapore – May 17, 2006 – Amaru Inc. (AMRU) and its Hollywood-based subsidiary, M2B World Inc., have jointly announced that it will officially launch its much anticipated Global Broadband TV Service, M2Btv, and its innovative PONY set-top box, making the duo available to consumers beginning in mid-2006. The comprehensive on-demand entertainment service will offer over 40 channels of mainstream entertainment designed to immediately appeal to viewers around the world. The full range of the service will be exclusively available via the PONY box, which allows users to choose their entertainment at their own pace while enjoying a host of additional features that complement every lifestyle.

The M2Btv service is the combined result of years of programming aggregation from entertainment networks around the world and the development of proprietary technologies by the company that allow a viewer to access this content through the highest-quality broadband streaming available to consumers. With over 40 channels of content at launch, the service will feature an expansive library of both Hollywood and Asian films, classic and recognizable television shows from around the globe, health, lifestyle, shopping and education channels, as well as original content being produced and developed by the brand. The service will be available via subscription and will complement a viewer’s existing entertainment choices by allowing users to access a wide cache of programming at their fingertips any time of day, seven days a week in the comfort of their living room.

In conjunction with the M2Btv service, the brand has formally launched PONY, its cutting-edge set-top box. The unit, approximately the size of a standard DVD player, can be easily added to an existing entertainment center and will allow viewers to tap into the M2Btv service, as well as access the internet and the corresponding full range of benefits that internet accessibility provides. In addition, the PONY box allows for long sought after lifestyle solutions, including easy-to-use video conferencing, video messaging and shopping, and will be offered for free with a monthly subscription to M2Btv. Essentially, the two offerings have combined to bring the time-efficient benefits of IPTV into the living room, where the content and the internet will be directly accessible via existing hardware such as a television set and broadband internet connection.

“We have been intently focused on keeping our finger on the pulse of consumer needs, including the burgeoning interest and clamor for IPTV and on-demand entertainment,” said Amaru Inc. CEO and M2Btv President Colin Binny. “With this in mind, we have developed a service and the supporting technologies that circumvent the need to utilize a PC to tap into this entertainment, instead bringing the content and internet accessibility directly into the living room. We have been under the strong belief that the next generation of entertainment will blend the benefits afforded by the internet and the comfort of television viewing, and can now offer such a system to our viewers.  ”

The brand recently kicked off the M2Btv service platform and PONY box at an exclusive presentation in Beverly Hills for key industry journalists in the entertainment and technology fields. The brand has previously announced expansive content lineup agreements for the service, and will make the box and M2Btv available to consumers through both brick and mortar and online retail outlets.
