Signifies Landmark Deal Between US-Based Company and Leading Japanese ISP Provider

Hollywood, CA./Singapore- June 7th, 2005 – US-based Amaru Group and its subsidiary, M2B World Inc., today announced that they have completed a deal with United Power Co. Ltd., Japan’s leading ISP provider to distribute major entertainment content by way of cutting-edge technology through a broadband serviced, voice activated set-top box. The agreement reflects a breakthrough in Japan, where US-based media companies have had difficulty securing such broad scale distribution partnerships, as well as is indicative of the increasing push towards broadband streaming for worldwide consumers seeking entertainment media.

United Power Company, Ltd. will offer its customers access to the set-top box, which advances beyond earlier technology by now offering voice activation, broadband streaming and the ability to use the box to monitor activities within the home when the owner is away. The box also offers a personal “valet”, an animated icon that recognizes the user and initiates access to features such as voice-activated email retrieval, VOIP services, access to streaming content on demand and picture storage. All of these features are offered in addition to traditional internet access and are activated by attaching the set-top box to existing televisions. With this deal, M2B World Inc will be offering 8 channels of streaming content, covering such categories as Hollywood entertainment, fashion, sports and music to over 250,000 homes in Japan by the end of 2005.

M2B World Inc. continues to make significant inroads into the Asian media market, although countries like Japan have typically kept media distribution agreements in country. The alliance with United Power, Co. Ltd. is a reflection of the M2B’s commitment to offering consumers around the globe not only an increasingly wide-scale of broadband streaming content on demand, but also access to this content through the most recent technological advances. In addition, M2B has been able to secure the worldwide rights to distribute the box, and already has plans to offer an English version in the United States by the end of 2005.

“Our consistent focus has been to offer consumers immediate access to the content that they are seeking, whether that is movies, lifestyle programs, popular products or educational resources,” said Colin Binny, President of M2B World Inc. “Our ability to now offer Japanese customers our expansive range of content, as well as access to the internet and their email utilizing the convenience of voice activation through their television set is a perfect fit towards fulfilling our vision of the ultimate personalized media experience for the consumer. We strongly believe that by combining the broad range of content we offer with the latest in technology, that we are meeting the increasing consumer need for the ability to create their own unique entertainment experience that is available upon demand.”
